Summary#
This is my story, of how I got into tech, learned to code, and went on the internet back in the late 90s. Yes, I’m that old! I’ll talk about high school, college, PhD & research, going into the industry, and having a mental breakdown that led to burn out.
This is also the Episode 1 of my new podcast, Tech Punk, where I freely talk about the topics that interests me. It’s the least constrained content in my channel, and it can cover anything from a personal story to some particular tech or software that caught my attention. While I give myself the freedom to diverge, most of the episodes are meant to be on topics like digital freedom, privacy, technology, sovereignty, independent thought, decentralization, institutions, infrastructure, information systems, open source, tech history, and software engineering.
